Inspiration of Japan

Mount Fuji - Fujinomiya in a snowy day.

Japan’s Mt. Fuji is an active volcano about 100 kilometers southwest of Tokyo. Commonly called “Fuji-san,” it’s the country’s tallest peak, at 3,776 meters. A pilgrimage site for centuries, it’s considered one of Japan’s 3 sacred mountains, and summit hikes remain a popular activity. Its iconic profile is the subject of numerous works of art, notably Edo Period prints by Hokusai and Hiroshige.

Fuji, a beautiful active volcano that symbolizes Japan, was called "Fujisan, Sacred Place and Source of Artistic Inspiration" and added to the World Heritage List as a cultural property during the 37th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.

The Diskobolos of Myron is a Greek sculpture that represents a youthful ancient Greek athlete, poised as if ready to spin around and release the discus. The original Greek bronze dates from about 460–450 BC and is lost, but the work is known through numerous Roman copies in marble, a cheaper material than bronze.

Rome Colosseum, a real worldwide well-known monument that is full of history, architecture. The Colosseum is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age.
